Thanks mate for your encouraging feedback. People like you lifts spirit I am concerned because my course starts at the last week of august, so there isn't much time left. But if the Medical is so important to them then they should ask us to do it before the application like in India and some other countries. This saves a lot if time for us and as well as them. Also in India people get visa within 3-4 weeks. I know one person who got it in 8 days!!

I don't understand why is it so tricky to get a study permit in Canada. When I went to UK in 2007 they made me do the medical test before the application and gave me the visa within 2 days.

i know it's really frustrating to be treated like that by a country like Canada where we expect that things will be handled much more smoothly and promptly...when i received my student visa back in 2003 things were much easier and quicker...i guess it's because of the increase of the number of applicants nowadays...but still CHC should have known the increase of interested applications and handle this situation more professionally...well my friend-..approving visa to a huge number of qualified Int. students and inviting them into Canada does explain that it is not only students interest that lies behind it but Canada's financial and socioeconomic interests as well. Don't worry and waste more time to think which airline will you fly with to Canada than thinking of getting a call from CHC coz eventually it will come if you are qualified...Chao

he created an account in Skype using location USA and subscribe unlimited mobile/landphone call with his credit card (Cost $6.99/monthly). Then gave that Skype account to his parents back home (Bangladesh). Now his parents can call him anytime to his mobile phone using Skype from Bangladesh with zero extra cost.

You will be asked to send your passport through email and do not submit prior to that.

The police clearance stays valid for one year according to CIC but some might say six months according to Bangladesh rules.
