I am applicant of 2007. How my IELTS score will determine?
Is it as per old scoring system or new system?
As per old system, applicant need to obtain 7 to each section to get maximum points. Whereas new system allow applicant to get 4 points for 6.5 in each section except listening where 7.5 need to get to score 4 points.
Any idea?

it should be the old system.

new system is for the new applicants, i.e. MI-3.

Hi Fellow applicants and seniors

I just phone to election commission Pollobi (Mirpur) regional office and ask them about expiry date of National ID. They reply that according to Bangladesh government rule a National card will expire after 15 years from date of issue. Thus, Should I give a date calculate from date of issue and give a note (I don't have any evidence). OR what should I do?

samir vi,
Yes, just give a date calculate from date of issue and mention in the cover letter that " National ID of bangladesh is valid for 15 years"

Nice to know:
Expiry date of national ID card is not a big issue. Many countries dont have national ID card; for instance: our loving country CANADA doesnt :P Moreover, many countries(ex: Greece) National ID card dont have expiry date likewise Bangladesh.

Seniors,

I have noticed for 4/5 applicants address has been disappeared in Spetember. what do you think what would be reason for that. I suppose that all of them in RBVO? Does it mean that it will change teh status to in process?

If you think there are fraudulent activities done by the immigration agents, you may now report it directly to CIC. They have recently launched a tipline to reduce these unscrupulous deeds. You may read this on the Migrating to Canada site.

Dear Dr. Hasib Bhai,
Assalamualikum. We all of this forum is very much obliged to you for your kind co-operation and time to time advise.

I feel a little bit tension for a matter that:

I applied on May 2011,got PER from CIO on June 2011 and 2nd AOR on July, 2011 from SGVO & ECAS: RBVO. So, I can be sure that my eligibility point is equal or over 67 .

My IELTS score is Overall: 6.0 & moderate level in all bands. My NOC is 2121 (Biologist & Related Scientist).

My tension is: such (moderate level)IELTS score will affect my NOC-2121? I mean, would it create any problem getting MR?

Please share your experince in this regard.

Thanking you with kindest regards.

I talked with one of my relatives in Election Commission and he said, everyday many embassies do query regarding NID matter and Election Commission reply accordingly via letter, email etc. But about expiry date, it is surely 15 years from date of issue and there is no risk to put it in our Generic form. Hope they will not verify this silly issue and if they, definitely the commission will help them. NID is basically verified for those who are international criminals.

Thanks deb_avik. But should I send translate copy of National ID due to some part of it written in Bangla.
