Dear members can anyone tell me how long pcc is valid from Bangladesh?? I send my app in oct, that time my pcc was already 5 months old.

PCC is valid for 6 months.
Don't worry they will ask you again after your file arrive in VO if require.

I received PER on 27 Oct 2014. I contacted SG VO regarding my app change (birth of baby), they replied that:
"Please be informed that you file has not been transferred here yet. Upon receipt of an acknowledgement letter from a visa office, you may then make contact to provide the required information."

Now waiting for there mail. In the mean time i already made the passport of my new born. Anything needed?

I also have new born babies this month and want to make passports for them. Could you pls tell me if the procedure is same as that for adult.

Yes. But here you have to submit additional photograph of parent.

PCC is valid for 1 year not 6 months. It would have 6 months if DMP had mentioned it with date. But as per CIC the PCC is valid for one year. Below is the reference for you from CIC website...........

Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO, please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one.

Having trouble with WES evaluation. WES sent the email for verification to Dhaka University on 6/11 but didn't attach the doc file to verify. DU sent a reply email asking to send the docs for verification. When I contacted DU on 20/11 WES still didn't make any response. DU sent another email on that day. I've sent 3 emails and no reply what so ever . I've rung the WES call center today. Allah knows if that gonna make any difference!! I'm worried thinking whether I'll be able to submit my application on time or not? Does anyone have any idea?

So, how you planning to carry settlement fund to Canada? I mean in what form you will carry (cash/cheque or any other method)?

Don't know brother. Need to talk with other. Immigration authority hardly check it. So I guess, most of the immigrant take those cash inside pocket. Still, if they check, and takes the money, we cannot go to Canada ??? ??? - double blow.

May consider traveler's cheque.

I feel I am in a big problem.

Got MR Request , PCC Request , RPRF Request on 20/11/2014.

Applied Code :: 2281
Visa Office :: Singapore
From :: Bangladesh

Issue is I got a new baby born after my application submission. And currently I am in a process for adding my baby at my application. But at this time I got MR Request for my wife and me. There is point saying at MR mail ::

each of your dependent children (if applicable)

But no individual letter for my baby as they don't know yet of my baby.

Please suggest what to do ?

I also faced the same situation. I also felt that it was a big problem. But it is not.
What I did?

1. At first, immediately (May be two or three days after) after birth of my baby, I sent a case specific Enquiry (CSE) ( Link: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=singapore&_ga=1.128245711.231628748.1414073867) to inform the family size change.

2. Obtained birth certificate from city corporation and also from hospital

3. Take photograph of baby

4. Apply for baby's passport ( my suggestion is to apply for it with emergency fee)

5. collect proof of fund documents -bank certificates and bank statements ( becoz family size change mean proof of fund change (increase)

6. update two form( IMM0008 form, IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” forms for me and my spouse.

7. prepare bank draft for processing fee


Then after gathering all documents, I sent these through courier mail to SVO and email to SPOREIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca
I got MR for my baby after 3 weeks of sending all these documents

Dear Seniors;

I do exactly the same mentioned in the NOC 2011. I almost wrote the same in my Job Experience letter only by deleting 2 jobs those i do not do and adding few as i do accordingly. I have not rearranged the sentences as it is the same job I do what is mentioned in the NOC 2011. my Code is 0112 (Human Resources Manager). Will it be a problem? I lodged my application on 20 Nov 2014.
