Can someone please share a sample experience letter? My ex employer in BD told me to write the letter and he'll just read through and sign. I'm applying under the Financial Accountant category and I'd really appreciate if some one could share an experience letter/ certificate

CIC received my application on May 6 & I send that from BD at 30th April,2014. At programmer category. Still got no reply from CIC. Very worried about the update. Those who send 5-6 later from my application sending period got approval letter. Don't know where is the problem. Too much confused.

Send them a query regarding ur application status....Since u can send query after 45days of ur application....

Don't know about any forumites but one of my friend is living in Alberta. According to him, job prospect at Alberta is highest due to growing mining industry- it does not mean job is widely available - you need to build network with people you knows - and also if possible contact recruiting agents.

I have applied under FSW 2132 started in May 2014. I sent my application in the first week of May 2014. But till now i did not receive any response from CIC. Does anyone have any idea how long it may take to receive at least a response or reply from CIC for the very first time?

So far its not matter of worry.....Since CIC is still sending PER email to 7th-14th May applicants...

But if u want to know current status of ur file u can do the below(since its already 45 days over):

Here is the details...Ask them ur query to below ID :

 Procedure to get CIC agent on phone
 Call at – 0016139444000
 Select 1 for English
 Then 1 for foreign affair
 2 for immigration
 Call is being transferred to CIC
 Then 1 for English
 2 for status
 1 for PR
 When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
 Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.
