Look Mr MMOMEN

Most of man in bd enforce wife to add husbands name in the wife name, it shows some poor mentality (sorry to say ) actually her birth certificate and other educational certificates are the real name and she should follow those because thats couldnt change right now and must all the documents should be similar name and others could easily change by showing her previous educational certificates .

Thanks

Well, if she has the same name in all the documents like NID, Birth certificate, academic papers, passport, bank and others, no need to worry at all :) :). This has become a standard.

hmmm.......but my confusion is in this point..how a baby can use her husband name ..when she was born? so is it needed to change only in birth ID or you think it is alright ??

Dear All Concerned,

In connection to the above issue, I politely disagree with nkshumon.

First of all, a woman is supposed to carry her husbands identity (may be by adding/replacing surname) at the time of her marriage as per islamic rule.

In Islam a woman is in responsibility of four man in her life.

01. Her Father,
02. Her Brother (From elder to younger chronologically)
03. Her Husband,
04. Her Son (From elder to younger chronologically)

I think no one should show the courage to deny or express openion other than Allah Subhanu Ta'la (Please consult Sura Nisa and/or any Haqqani Alim - Learned Islamic Scholar)

Please don't feel hurt. It is just an attempt to save oneself from sin, may be done from not knowing or in the waswasa of Shytan.

What we do is wrong, it is a system developed and established by people other than muslims.

Now, the Solution :

Your Aunt is supposed to have an Affidavit for changing her name. Since, the Nikah/Marriage registry requires a document as a proof of bride's name, and the registrar see the maiden name (Name with father's or family surname) in the SSC or any other certificte, he requires an Affidavit of changing her name. Upon getting the Affidavit copy of change of name "Halaf Nama" the Nikah registrar enters the name of bride and bridegroom in his registrar and issue Nikahnama or Marriage certificate.

You are in need of that Affidavit copy of your Aunt's Halafnama.

So, what I understand the birth certificate is customized..... :) :)

However, it is possible to be a woman's last name as husband's name. And I think also it is wise to use identical name to avoid future complexities. It is coincidence....... 8) 8)

I have a friend named Taposhi whose husband's name is Taposh. Do you have anything to say? >:(

From previous communication of mmomen, I find her academic papers are also carrying the same name. Hi Mmomen, please clarify.
