Dear All,

Just an update after I sent my PPs on 29th April - my Ecas now shows DM! ;D all seems well. Waiting for the passports to be returned now!

Thank you to all for the support and sharing your knowledge. It gives alot of mental strength which is mostly required during the long and endless waiting game. Will let you know the moment I receive the PPs.

Thanks deba! I applied in Jan 2010! The only reason I think I got lucky is, the Canadian Imm team visited my office and verified all my work early 2011. So after the verification things went extremely smoothly as they found me to be suitable.

Job Verification through a site visit is very close to an Interview. So this visa for you is a hugeeeee thing for you if compared to others'. btw, how they are gonna send your passports? Registered postal mail or you're sending Pre Pay Courier envelopes to them.

Yes jnathan, I think - they thought I was too good to be true as a candidate so they double checked, I had no issue with it . I was also thinking the same jnathan as you go through our recent posts. I have not yet received any mails from them, by their official account they said it will come through CHC Dhaka, so I will wait for CHC Dhaka to contact me.

Only a Ghost from CHC Dhaka can contact you lol.
Mail CHC Singapore about this issue and you will surely get a reply like if you wanna get the passport in courier , then send them a pre pay envelope, else they will send the passports in Registry mail.

@experienced BD PR holders/advisers, should I visit CHC Dhaka next week even without their communication? I knew previously they used to hand over PPs that way.

My Query to SVO on May 14, 2012

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a Bangladeshi applicant, and sent my passports to your office (through the Canadian High Commission Dhaka) as per the Passport Request that was sent to me. I had submitted my passports on the 29th of April. After 30th of April 2012, as the immigration offices are completely closed in Bangladesh, how would I expect to receive these passports back?

I told you before about the procedure and how could you do all of these once agin i told you that 1st of all you should meet the board chairman along with your father and tell her about your current situation and your father should speak with her then she would be believe . look aneka my relative also done it after 15 years of complete the exam so dont worry its possible but its only happen to increase your age / DOB mind it .so you do what i say i hope inshallah everything would be solved .

I went there with my father but the chairman wasn't available. She was out of station and she will be available after 22nd May. And I'm increasing my DOB. During my SSC form fill up in school I've provided my original DOB but my class teacher reduced a year from my DOB behind my back, since all the students reduced a year. Because of her mistake I'm going through this trouble. Hopefully things will fall into places.

Dont worry you take time and meet her with your father inshallah you will get the good result i hope cause you increase your age , by the way here is the no of Dhaka Education Board Chairman -02-8653428 call her before you go. look not only you all the students are doing this by the influence of our respectable teachers , for this reason in many family found their borthers and sisters age are same when they try to immigrate abroad , they found their both of the sister or brothers age are similar due to reducing age factor .so once again i assured you she will accept it and would complete your problem inshallah..best of ;luck ..

Visa and Immigration Section at the Canadian High Commission in Bangladesh (Dhaka) is closed, it doesn't mean CHC Dhaka is closed.

To be precise we (The PR applicant) only used CHC Dhaka as a courier for our application process. They just collected and delivered the package.
