but they are not even sending ppr at all.my medical send date was 1st july but no e cas change or no ppr request.though other visa office usually send ppr with in a month. >:(

I believe your medical report was sent to Regional Medical Office in Manila not in SVO. It usually takes 4 to 6 weeks for the visa office to get the medical report from regional medical office and then another 4 to 6 weeks to issue PPR. I think you should get your PPR by October, 2012. Best of luck.

Dear Seniors,

I would like to know about the minimum period of passport to get the visa; i.e my passport expiry date is August 2013 (less than 1 yr), so can I apply for any countries visa ?
Could you please inform ?

Usually 6 to 12 months. If you are Bangladeshi, you should renew it from BD as it is cheap to renew from there than Canada.

Any one can get visa 3-6 months(varies country to country) before its expiry. It is international rule. Hope it may assist.

better convert your passport to MRP.....as u have a previous passport it will take only 15/20 days with a charge of 3000/- to convert to MRP....& the process is very easy now.....you just need to go to passport office as early as possible to avoid long ques....

Hello Everyone,

Below is my timeline:

We received your application for permanent residence on May 13, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on November 3, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Singapore office. They are pending review.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 27, 2012.

I have a question. My Education/Experience is all in US. How long do you think it will take for me to get my MR. Also, can they verify US experience from Singapore? Thanks in advance.

Almost same as mine.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 26, 2012.
Received MR on 26/6/12, issued on 20/6/12.
MR done on 14/7/12
MR have been received (28/7/12 on ecas).

I think, you might receive MR at any moment.

Tokon,

I am also planning to come BD but the problem is my wife is pregnant for 12 weeks now and after certain periods of time (may be at 30 weeks of pregnancy), airlines ppl will not issue our ticket. They follow general medical advice and do not allow any person to fly at their advanced stage of pregnancy.

Hi nivrit, you might find worth reading the following link and seek some suggestion there.

Hi Seniors

I want to send my documents via DHL to singapore visa office. Which address should i send to?

In one of the blog i read for normal post, it should be the P.O box given in the letter. But for courier service, it should be sent to Canada high commission in singapore.

dear seniors please shed light on this one. Had anybody sent the docs (after medical) in dhl or fedex? if so, in which address in singapore?

regards
