I am really surprised and hurt to read some posts. The lackeys and braggarts appeared at last in this beautiful forum!They are discovering viruses in the antidotes themselves at last ! They now see an aparition in simanto as so called "intruder"jnathan, what a surprise beyond my imagination.I feel pity for them!please !Do not list me in Jnathan as an exorciser.

I have crossed 16 months....

This is clearly mentioned in CIC website that "The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011".


That means this the reflection of historical data of last one year which is updated on a quarterly basis [follow the moving average rule]. It is my personal opinion that there is a potential chance to increase the number in coming quarter, since the processing queue has NOT been cleared even in an average pace on a cumulative basis!

Thanks Smiling face to initiate the issue. Really this will definitely increase day by day if the VO doesn't take necessary steps. Can u imagine the matters with people who applied in 2006? I applied in 2010 but things seem to me agonizing. God knows what will be the fortune of Pre june and pre 2008. May Almighty be good to all of us.

with a quota of only 1100 for 2011, nothing much to expect now.
The backlog has its legacy since 2004.
on the other hand impersonation and surrogacy could be sniffed in the air.

during the full doc submission you send the photocopy of your daughter passport also right ? if it is like this , then you should make a cover letter and describing " it is change due to expiry ...." and include the new passport copy.

if they have the database for the old one , they will expect for the old passport as per their reference , right ?

then u will submit something else right ? so i think u should send it now ! but again if u feel u will send it later , then u can , coz , we have to wait long for our que to come :-X.

But my view is to send it now as soon as u get passport and update the data , it is a very important document , where the visa will be stamped.

Send the copies as soon as you get the new passport.

Ok here's the thing. After you get the new one passport , take the old (expired) passport to the passport office and get some officer to stamp it. The stamp will include details of 1) passport being cancelled and also states the reason (expiry) 2)new /current passport number.
The passport office people will want you to surrender your expired passport, so be careful here. If you have a friend or someone working there, this whole process can go very smoothly, also they can help you make the necessary government fee (chalan) , although paying the necessary fees for modification is not very complicated! This all will take 1-2 hours. Remember, you should not surrender anything before taking necessary photocopies at least.

So once you get your old passport with stamp (that mentions expiry, and current passport number). Make a photocopy of the biodata pages (first 4 page, assuming passport is non MRP) and also photocopy of the stamp page. Then get photocopy of new/current passport pages. On top of photocopies, mention 'expired passport copy', 'current passport copy' etc as labels. Write the cover letter that you talked about and then send all of these items 1) old passport copy + stamp page 2) new passport biodata page 3) explanation letter to SVO.

I had a situation where I needed to do this process like 7-8 months ago. It was for a different purpose, but it worked. So, I hope this helps you.

oNce you submit your old passport there, chances are you will never get your old passport back.
this happened to many and they ended up with remorse of submitting their old passport while getting a new one.

Bangladesh passport office cut the edges of old passport when u surrender the old one and but they returns it to u.without submitting old passport no one gets new 1,but good thing is that they return the old one but destroy the corners of the passport with machine

I joined the forum (as far as i remember) in May 2010. since then i am a regular leecher of the forum. There were only 40 pages alltogether in this forum. the forum was healthy, informative and helpful for those who needed information and who applied by themselves. it was all good......but suddenly everything got changed dramatically since there are few people bugging things up between them. and i am dare to say that it is Jnathan (even before we found him weirdo), Dr. Hasib, Simanto, Munnabd etc. Seems like this has become a fighting place rather than noah's boat. Dr. Hasib, Simanto, Munnabd could let it go at the first place rather than making comments against someone special. we used to ignore him whenever we didnt like his comments. pls make this forum helthy and make it like the way so that future members would feel proud about it.

i dont want any comment against it!!!!! and hope everybody will take it positively.
