MR has no concrete relation with the in process status. Some people got MR right after getting to in process status whereas i got MR after being in process for 7 months. But address disappearance do have a relation with MR.the date of issue of my MR letter is same as the date when my address disappeared in e-cas!

Hi SamDhaka, how r you ?? ;) You haven't been responding much to this forum posts. You must be busy, packing suitcases right? 8) I totally agree with you about address disappearance and MR. Too many people have got MR after e-cas address disappeared. But at the same time not everybody was so lucky. Some people's address reappeared later but they didn't get MR.

Hi munna vai, i'm doing well. Was busy getting all the additional docs ready.. If address disappear for a short while then it can b status update or system glitch. But if address disappeares for weeks then good chance of getting MR. My address reappeared after i received the registered letter!

Simanto Bhai , u know I also lost my 2nd AOR , may be it's missing by the courier service , I still I did not get any information about this. When I query about this in SImgapore office they gave me a number like Bxxxxxxx like 1st AOR.what should I do now?

in you first AOR there is UCI number , you can check your application status by this uci number also.

B XXX number sis provided by cio and another one is generated by the svo , you should mention the second B XX number which is mentioned in the 2nd AOR letter should be use to further communicaiton with the visa post /office.

But don't worry u can check by uci number as well and see your application status and wait for the MR .

Tamanna Apu,

There is no change in the details of your ecas. They would put a date if it is actually IN PROCESS. So, you can query bcoz you're finding same situation for a couple of months. I believe yr mail has not been missed.

I have a query .. My kid's passport will be expiring soon and I'll issue a new one for her .. I mean surrendering the passport as its 10 yrs old and getting a new one. Do I need to send the photocopy of the new passport to the VO ? My case is still pending for review.

during the full doc submission you send the photocopy of your daughter passport also right ? if it is like this , then you should make a cover letter and describing " it is change due to expiry ...." and include the new passport copy.
i hope this will help sister.

As we know processing time for Singapore Visa Office is 12 months, I have passed. One of known person, who applied 1st week August 2010, he has already submitted his passport to Canadian Embassy in Bangladesh.

What will be the next step for me? Why becomes so late for processing or it is normal.

Thankg you

Dear Bai

first of all, I congratulate you for your progress in your applicatiion .Could you please tell us when did the visa office strt processing your case ?
It could be next to impossible for us if we start groping in the dark.If your case take a very long time since your case reeling in the VO's table, then caips notes could be the best option !

Dear smiling_face

Thanks for your updated information.
oops! The most toilsome waiting takes another dimension in length.
so distressful waiting for the aspirant applicants .

This is clearly mentioned in CIC website that "The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011".

That means this the reflection of historical data of last one year which is updated on a quarterly basis [follow the moving average rule]. It is my personal opinion that there is a potential chance to increase the number in coming quarter, since the processing queue has NOT been cleared even in an average pace on a cumulative basis!
