I Got the fare 140,000/= return ticket for adult and 108,000 for child.

Hi - Guys and Gals

I landed in Toronto August 14th 2012 with my family, right now frustrated to get our PR cards and fly back to Lahore as early as possible. I traveled by PIA it was cheapest available fare in August . Alhamdolillah the flight was very very nice and comfortable. I am a frequent traveler in past i had traveled by Turkish, Emirates,Etihad, British, Qatar, KLM, Air France, Lufthansa, Austrian, and many more i did not found PIA behind any air line in any standard. Although this was my first long haul flight by PIA in my life.Unless i traveled by PIA i was of the same opinion as u are (old planes, poor safety standard etc) but after traveling i found that PIA have brand new and Latest Boeing 777 LR/ER planes for USA and Toronto routes. Where as the other airlines are also operating the same planes on long haul flights. So dont worry about PIA Toronto flight at least its OK.

To day i have recieved an e mail from etihad being a frequent flier member they have a special promotion fare for Toronto / New york it was arond 113000 +/_ this offer is only for 3 days i guess, so please try if you can catch this offer i am sure you could never find this fare any more any where. Its your luck if u can avail this offer......

Can anyone here share the Experience/knowledge of landing and settling in toronto in the month of december.

Is it feasible to land in early december or in late january. Also, i will really appreciate if someone share experience/knowledge of landing first as a principal applicant and then the accompaying family members land after 2 or 3 months. As i dont have any relative in Canada so i as a principal applicant have to arrange the accomodation first.

Your input in the above mentioned regard will be highly appreciated.

honestly, all i know is that toronto temp falls upto -28 in january at night

I am worried about our kids getting the winter shock.. I think if you know anyone there, best is to ask them to bring appropriate jackets and woollen hats for all of you to the airport, so that you can manage the cold weather and not get sick because of it..
