Thanks a lot! any tips to increase points? Once I get my ECA & IELTS result, I should file for EE. What you say? Can I see my points once submission is done or it'll take some time?

Best Regards,

When you build your profile, you get to know your CRS immediately. You can also use the CRS tool to check your score without creating the profile.

Dear All

I have submitted my PR application. Can you please provide me information about what are the next steps I would face and how long it would take to complete the whole process.

Thank you

Mr.Ashivad Anac,

Is it necessary to have 67 points to create EE profile in 2015 programme?

If you're applying under FSWP, yes. You will be deemed ineligible for EE if you don't have 67/100. FSWP is an immigration stream under the umbrella program of Express Entry.

Submitted your application after an ITA? Or created an EE profile?

Yes, after Nomination and ITA.

Provided that your application was complete, you wait ;). If applicable, occupy the time by job searching, researching areas to live; if you are already in Canada & working, just wait... :).

Dear All,

please, i wish to know if a student currently studying for a master degree at one of the canadian universities is eligible for federal skilled worker program under express entry?

Thanks all.

I got CRS 404. Really confused if i should apply for OONP or wait for Further Express entry draws :( :( :(
OONP will take atleast 3 months to process. By the time if the EE score drops to 400 application fee of $1500 for OONP will be a waste !!!!
Any suggestions are welcome !!

You'll need to have at least 1 year of full-time (or equivalent part time) work experience within the last 10 years in NOC 0/A/B to be eligible for EE. While you may be currently studying, do you have prior work experience? If yes, you might be eligible under FSWP.

Hi,

I am filling my express entry and need help on following query:

For myself:
- What should I choose "field of study" in my engineering degree?
- What should I choose "field of study" in my MBA degree?
- I have got ECA as "Bachelors Degree" - shall I mention both MBA and Btech or only Btech?
- Work history to be shown for past 10 years or only for specific NOC - I am showing 6 years experience for primary NOC?

For Wife:
- Passport dont have surname- what should I mention in last name - if I leave it blank its showing error message?
- What should I show as experience in my spouse profile? Is it good to show or just say she's a housewife?

Regards,

Abhijit Saran

If your ECA shows Canadian equivalency as Bachelors, choose Bachelors only. You can include your MBA in your profile and choose "Two or more degrees..." option for that.

- Work history to be shown for past 10 years or only for specific NOC - I am showing 6 years experience for primary NOC?

6 years would be sufficient to gain you the maximum points. No need to include more than that.

For Wife:
- Passport dont have surname- what should I mention in last name - if I leave it blank its showing error message?

Input 'Not Applicable' for now and you can explain this using an LOE during post ITA submission.

- What should I show as experience in my spouse profile? Is it good to show or just say she's a housewife?

No point in including spouse experience if it was acquired outside Canada.

Thanks Asivad for your comments. Need to know few things more:

- For my MBA - ECA is not recognized.. can I still put in as"Two or more degrees..." option

- I am having an experience of 8 years, so no need to show more than 6 years of experience?

Kind regards,

Abhijit

Only if your MBA is recognized as a separate Bachelors degree. If not, No.

If all 6 of those were under the same NOC and if you have a foolproof reference letter, not necessary. You can still add those years if you want to.

Kind regards,

Abhijit
