Has anyone received an invitation for NOC 2262 (Engineering Inspector or Regulatory Officer)?

Also, would you guys know if AINP only takes primary NOC to determine who will be invited? Because my Primary NOC (2232, Mechanical Engineer) doesn’t seem to be in-demand, but my secondary NOC (2262) could possible be.

So based on your NOCs which is obviously 2. Which do u think they picked u based on? Also how many years of experience do u have in each of the 2.

At that time they picked noc 4011 bcz my friend has noc 2253 the same with me. But he didn't get NOI. I have 1 year experienced for 2253 and 2 years experienced for 4011.

Well, there can only be a speculative answer on this as no one knows the criteria that Alberta uses. However, I did read a thread where it was mentioned you are most likely to receive an NOI based on your current job & not previous jobs. Besides, there are lots of aspirants here waiting since Sept 2019 with NOC 1241 for an NOI so not sure if it is still in demand & they will continue to pick this year as well.

Hello all, I have 8 years experience in NOC -2134, (Chemical engineering) and my CRS score is 380. My application is in express entry pool. Anybody with NOC 2134, who have received ITA or application in is pool?

The AINP website answers this question. Yes for AOS. No for AEES, but it can give you extra links to Alberta if job offer ... can’t say exactly proportion as think <10 people of 501 with NOI in Jan 2020 have posted here, but many had job offer. But apparently lots of people have been successful with NOI without ... or even as outland without any ties ... but this was with later draws last year. There’s no official information on how important an Alberta job offer is (and your NOC seems most important) or whether things have changed ... like the much higher CRS for general Express Entry draws without PNP vs this time last year.

It's high in demand . Check Alberta's website. I'm in the same occupation NOC 2232
