AIP Work permit applicant in December 2022, Lets Connect here?

Applied for AIP WP Oct. 4th, biometrics done on 11th, still waiting for medical request.

Applied for PR on Dec. 28th, no AOR yet.

Applied from Nigeria, current WP processing time is 32weeks. NOC 8431.
 
any updates for temp work permit from India under AIP? If so, could you please share the timeline? It's about 7 weeks now since I applied with no update..

Are you outland?
Then that would take much longer than inland applicant.
 
Hi ,

I am confused and would appreciate everyones suggestions . I am in the process of applying AIP , not sure if I should apply for Work Permit or PR , I am outland applicant and have 2 dependants - spouse and 9 years son .
Confusion is if i will apply for work permit then is it applicable for my dependents as well like can they travel with me on closed work permit ? Also is mentioned on website that work permit do not guarantee PR.. so what will happen if PR does not come within 12 months

Better you could apply work permit and pr both

I applied for work permit under AIP and gave biometrics. When applying for AIP PR, should I once again give biometrics separately or is it not necessary?
 
Anyone here whose PR application got Returned (not rejected ) ?
My application got returned due single document missing . I have it now and planning to apply again with adding my new born baby details as well

You can validate it via biometric validation tool in CIC site

What are conditions for Temp work permit and for how long can we stay on temp work permit , my main concern is if my son will also be given dependent visa on work permit? In PR entire family gets PR but in work permit will my son will also get visa to travel with me ? Appreciate your revert
