AINP PNP holder... valid?

So, I applied already for PR under the PNP program (Alberta nominee). Sometimes I feel I should enter into the EE pool, as I would qualify for FSW and in one month I would qualify for CEC as well.

When I do the calculator from cic (I have't created a profile yet) it ask me if I have a nomination, which I do, and it gives me the extra 600 points.

My question is, will I actually gets those points in the official profile? I spend most of my time in the PNP forum, so I'm not the most expert one regarding EE.

There seems to be a lot of contradiction on whether I'll get the points or no. My nomination was issued in December, and I applied for PR in January (but it's going to be reaaaaaaaally slow).

Anyone here who tried and succeeded getting the 600 pnp points?

Ainp is not working with CIC express entry . So u wont get those 600 points here . Check AINP news on 14or 16 February . They made it clear that they dnt support Express Entry . ... Ur lucky u got AINP , ppl here are waiting it frm last year and a half and theres not sign of nomination . Wen did u applied for AINP ?

I have absolutely same situation as you have. I got a nomination in Dec 2014.
I checked all options and AINP told me that my nomination 100% cannot be used for Express Entry points.
Only special Express Entry Stream nominations will grant 600 points in the future.
But yes, you definitely can apply to EE and submit profile without +600 points for nomination.

Why would he be doing dat ? He got nomination and will be getting File number in next few days . Stick with old system . Yes if u hv LMO then u might try in Express Entry ..

I got my nomination on December!! Applied in June. It took less than 6 months to get the nomination for me. This has been discussed in other posts, I don't know what I got it so fast, since some people have been waiting for a while. Still unsure what preferences does AINP has regarding nominations.

So no 600 points, guess I'll stick with my PNP PR application. I applied in January, but no, I won't get my AOR in the next few days, it's actually taking close to 6 months ! (same as the whole timing of EE).

They should be allowed in the EE, it's a nonsense to make us wait 17 months for PNP PR and then EE giving PR's in 6. But that's life.

Lucky u DUde my friend here in Calgary applied in November 2014 and still waiting for nomination . Dnt worry abt tym at least u got half of ur PR . Knw many many ppl who r stuck in Alberta coz of AINP looooooonnnnnggggg processing Times ..
