I'm a january 17 applicant and just ordered Gcms notes last week..

it says in there that our papers its almost done like for rcmp screening when they updated
for medical passed they got the rprf payment also
its 47 pages actually and so on probably because we are 4 dependant
but good thing in gcmc note its kinda relief because from there you see how they process your application
but the last pages says ITS FORWARDED TO CPC-OTTAWA AND
IT'S FOR ENTITIES PROJECT ALREADY AND WAIT FOR THE SIGN OF ASSIGN OFFICER
thats why im wondering was thats it mean ?..

I have a question that can we do landing process while returning from our home country? (i dont have multiple work visa ). ??? (we got ppr and passport stamped by PR Visa).....IS it ok?

I have pretty similar situation Except the fact that I do have multiple entry work visa.
Called CIC to ask the same question and in my opinion the answer in NO in ur case.
You might want to make sure though

I have two dependents too. My wife and a 7 year old. Unlike you I never travelled outside Canada before. My wife went to Singapore for a few months but haven't received any PCC request for that. Let us wait for next week's result. I hope we will be one of those rare case that jumps to PPR without any previous updates, not even an IP. Fingers crossed.

It maybe possible since I've seen few who turned DM and got PPR in the same day. If their e-mail reply is true that they are already processing our application and if it just a lapse in e-cas update. Haha. Taking things on the lighter side.

i am january 6 applicant as well as waiting for IP, I don't know whats going on at all..... its really frustrating

Im january 16, 2014 applicant..got IP on sept 16, 2014 then sept 26, 2014 I received an email for PPR then the next day my ECAS status changed from IP to DM

What is wrong with Jan 6? What did they do to our application? I think this has something to do with the officer processing our paper. It is not weather we have dependents or single. It is the same thing with all January 6 applicants. It is just being held. I hope at least next week will be our week.

There are a couple of guys here in the forum where the application was received by January 6 also and already got DM.I asked one consultant about my application and the countries that I have been might be a factor for the delay but then again only CIC knows.

I sent out an email to Ottawa 4 days back inquiring if they got all my PCC as Sydney replied that my files are already in Ottawa.I got a 2 liner reply but thankfully not a generic one stating that my application is in que to be reviewed and ill be informed if anything is missing.I guess this will be my last inquiry email and would just let them do their job on it.
