Ages

I'm 25 and DH is 6 years older. A big factor for me coming here as opposed to him coming to the US is that he doesn't do well with change. He's got anxiety just from moving across town!

That being said.. it's a lot harder than I thought, adjusting to life here. It doesn't help that I'm waiting it out as a visitor and I can't work. It's really hard to make friends I'm from the South where people are a bit more open and friendly.. and I find a major city a bit cold.

Lol i agree as a visitor its harder to make new friends so it ends up a bit lonely eh? i used facebook groups called the calgary girls club/calgary couples club to make some new friends before i could work

I am 22 and my wife is 25. We will be applying at the end of this month!

I was a bit concerned about age when we first started putting our application together but we can definitely prove that our marriage is real and genuine so I'm really not worried anymore!!

Im being sponsored. iom 32 and husbands 50so yeah!. we are 18 years apart!!.. We dont look it though. He looks 38 . No serious wrinkiling and hair is blonde/brown. My biggest worry is if the age difference will cause a problem as well. we have 3 kids btn us though nd been married for 8 years..

I'm sponsoring my common law partner. I'm 34 and he's 30. I don't think the age is a huge difference. He's more like a 15 year though H'es been pretty relaxed through the whole thing, even though we had to withdraw the first application and are waiting to submit the new one. He takes life day by day. I'm freaking out
