Hi all,

After receiving PR card for how long maximum can I stay abroad continuously?

I know that in general I should be in Canada for 2 years out of 5. If I leave Canada for 2-3 years continuously, can it cause a problem?

I have no experience but I don’t think you will have any problem doing that. However, you have to be sure you stay 2 years in canada. Emergency situations that arise can affect your stay in Canada so I wouldn’t live 3 years abroad and wait for exact 2 years to spend in Canada.
