I heard that the name of the IRCC officer who registered me should be used somewhere, but when I check the instruction PDF, it is NOT mentioned anywhere.

Some posts say that it should be included in the subject of the email that I send back to IRCC, but the instruction says otherwise:
In the email subject line, add: “Oath form for [your file number], [your family name]” e.g. [C#######], [Smith].
It mentions nothing about the officer's name.

So.. I wonder where do I put it?
Thanks!

Always refer to the official source.
Here, it would be the email you receive from IRCC with your oath invitation.
If it says nothing about the officer's name, and it does indeed say nothing, it would mean one of 2 things:
1) other IRCC offices may have different procedures that don't apply to you.
2) what you heard or saw somewhere is pure bullcrap.
In both cases: ignore it.

The official source includes the IRCC clerk and officer who preside the oath ceremony, and they say the name should be used in the email subject.

This seem to contradict the original message, which says the email subject shouldn't include the clerk mail...
Anyway, follow the instructions you received from IRCC, whatever it is. Everything else is noise.
