what is the reason ppl who applied in 2014, already got their visa but ppl who applied in 2013 are still waiting for PPR for a long time? one of our relative applied in March 2014 and her husband already got his visa and coming by next week? It is really depressing.....

salaam sister tow reason one they are busy with student visas an the other one is closed down one of indian consulat in chandighal Punjab province that's why they are busy clearing up the work load ,I just heart I am not sure

Did you guys send it to Islamabad or New Delhi

if the applicant lives in Afghanistan cic will ask u to send ur pp to Islamabad Pakistan and if the applicant lives in india they ll ask u to send it to new dehli indian , do u get ppr ?

I'm a May 2014 applicant.
My wife's application went to New Delhi in July 2014.
Since then I haven't heard anything.
I checked on CIC and it says AR, DM, MR,

My wife is in Afghanistan.

I contacted my MP to find out what's going on in my case.
She called me yesterday and said: "They received your application on May 2014. And they will need an interview for your wife to come to New Delhi".

I asked her how long more is the wait. She told me since November 2014 up to 11 months they will send her a letter for the interview.



Now can someone tell me please how long more is this gonna take?
Anybody else had to go through this also?

how did you check with CIC about AR, DM, MR?
Please give me some details coz i really don't know about these stuff, it is always good to know but can't help to boost it up.

If u go to CIC Application Status.
Put ur UCI # and ur info. U should see everything

thanks; i logged in, under the sponsored applications, there are three columns, 1 sponsored name, 2 sponsorship application status, 3 permanent residence application status.

i check each and everyone of them there is nothing like AR, DM, or etc. (it only says application received oct 9-2014)

HI BUDDY, I FILLED OUT THE INFORMATION AND SUBMITTED THE FILL, WHILE MAKING THE PAYMENT THE PAGE TIMED US OUT BUT THE PAYMENT WENT THROUGH. DOES THIS MEAN THE FILL WAS SUBMITTED OR FAILED AND WE HAVE TO REDO THE APPLICATION?

the letter i got requests to send police clearance n landing fee (if have not already sent) including supplemantry information.
i have sent everything in the package. So does it mean they are asking for all this again or a new police clearance. Also is the supplemantry info just for spouse (applicant) or all the members of the family.

No its not. The person who is sponsoring does not have to be working at the moment if they are sponsoring their wife/husband.
