Hi,

Right now I'm on dependent work permit visa & last month I've applied for my study permit application within Canada only. I've applied online on Aug 28th. I have got an acceptance letter from community college - private college in Toronto so I applied for my study permit visa on this basis.

As this is a private - community college, there is no specific start date for a course. I've got a letter from a start date of Oct 14th & in letter it mentioned that it's expiration is Oct 14th.

So here I've few questions if you guys could help me on this:
1.) if I'm not going to hear back anything about my application from CIC prior to Oct 7th, should I need to defer my offer letter or should I need to update new start date or something?
2.) Is it affect wrong on my study permit application if I'll not hear back anything from CIC prior to expiration of my acceptance letter?
Actually college is willing to provide me an admission for Dec or Jan month too but I would like to start my 1 year course as early as I can do.

Anyone having idea about acceptance letter with community - private college - Study Permit Application visa? If so please help me on this for my next step.

Thanks

Not knowing your longer term plans I guess you realise that it is very difficult if not impossible to get PGWP after attending a private college.

Oh really? I didn't know about this. I thought I can get 1 year post grad work permit after attending a private college.

Currently I'm waiting to get PR invitation & that's why I applied for 1 year private college course so I can stay at least for a year in Canada & meantime hopefully get PR invitation.

Do you have any idea about my concerns in my original post?
