Hi, I had filled an application for May 18 intake on 21st Nov , and I didn't get any response on that . Just wanted to ask how much time college takes to provide offer? And kindly tell the email id through which offers are given. As I am getting mails of fanshawe through 2 different ID and i am confused ,is it fake or real.

I got admission in Fanshawe College for Summer 2018 in Software and Information Systems Testing (Co-Op), Post-Graduate Certificate Program. The duration of the course is from May 7, 2018 to December 31, 2018. I have 3 years bachelor degree which I completed in 2008, so i have a long gap in studies but got work experience. My questions are:

1. Will i be able to get a study visa with this study gap?
2. Can i apply for maters after this course?
3. After i complete my post graduate program, can i apply for open work permit visa?

Any information will be helpful thanks

If the course duration is less than 8 months, does it create any problem in obtaining 1 year work permit and is the co-op term included within this period or after the completion of the course ?

Hi,
No you cant get 1 yr work permit if your course is less than 8 months and you can only apply for post graduate work permit once in a life time so best to get the max time which is 3 years.
co-op is included with the period.

Are you currently studying at Fanshawe ? If so, I am particularly applying for the same two courses as you have mentioned earlier but the problem is that the duration of those courses are around 30 weeks which is exactly 7.5 months. I am planning to do two courses so if I go for either of these courses first that wouldn't be a problem to get a 3 year work permit provided that I do an another course immediately after finishing the first one.

The courses I am applying at Fanshawe are
1. Software and Information Systems Testing (Co-op)
2. Information Security Management

No i am currently in Montreal doing Graduate Diploma in Computer Science in Concordia University, it is a 1 year course.
Yes you can do two 1 year courses to get 3 yrs, i am planning to do the same way
