Admitted to Fanshawe College

hi guys,

I got admission in Fanshawe College for Summer 2018 in Software and Information Systems Testing (Co-Op), Post-Graduate Certificate Program. The duration of the course is from May 7, 2018 to December 31, 2018. I have 3 years bachelor degree which I completed in 2008, so i have a long gap in studies but got work experience. My questions are:

1. Will i be able to get a study visa with this study gap?
2. Can i apply for maters after this course?
3. After i complete my post graduate program, can i apply for open work permit visa?

Any information will be helpful thanks

Bro you can get visa, just write strong sop telling the VO that what you did in those 10 years and why do you want to study like improve my skills and pivot out to software testing
But why only 1 year course? I am not trying to demotivate, you will get only 1 year work visa after this, if you go for 2 year course you get 3 year work visa. You have one choice you can apply for college again in January 2019 for 1 year course and then get 3 year work permit.

Thank you so much replying bro, I applied for one year because i didnt get any other suitable courses for graduate certificate program for May 2018, I have tried in many universities for MS in Computer Science but all rejected me maybe due to my study gap and 3 yrs undergraduate. If i can get a 3 years work permit after doing another course in Jan 2019, that will be great, i will also try for Masters after finishing this course.

Now the most challenging part is getting the visa.

Hi, I applied on this October and got the confirmation on 1st November. I think you applied for late admission, there is strike going on in all the Ontario colleges now, maybe you should apply for May 2018 session.

My agent saying that they sent the mail to college to change my intake from jan to may 18 but still no response from all the 3 colleges I applied

Applying to colleges are relatively easy than university, they dnt ask for recommendation letters or statement of purpose. You can apply urself in colleges or university and save the money from agents. Agents try to take students applications even after the application deadlines.

If there is anyone who has done their student visa by themselves, can they help me to prepare my documents for applying the visa?

Guys, since my program has Co-Op, i should select work is mandatory in my study? In my offer letter my program length is given from May 7, 2018 to December 31, 2018 and in the they stated that Internship/Work Practicum is 16 weeks, so i am confused when applying for visa what duration should i give, my college didnt mention anywhere that 16 weeks are within December 31 or after.
