Its so hard to give them sputum culture if u have no cough and no chest congestion . what to do .,

Ask your doctor who will be doing the tests on how to provide sputum.

We had the same issue...whatever we could provide..we have provided..let's see what will happen now.

We gave the sample on Tuesday itself. They said it may take 6-8 weeks. What about you?

I am giving it today . it was hard time collecting it. Did they also ask u chest x ray too, They did my medicals in April 2014. And now they want me to chest x ary again on or after october 15/ 2014. Wastage of time.

let me brief you depend on my experience
1) They ask you to go for this test if they feel you have Active TB /Inactive TB.
2) They must observed some spot in your Lung that's why they do further testing
3) After sputum test also if they will not sure they will ask to do X-RAY after 3 month
4) another option is for chest scan (but that is costly)

If all this exercise if it is inactive TB you will get letter from CIC / Health some dept (don't remember name exactly ) for another xray , Skin test , and they will ask you to send report to CIC.

I am she not he lol ...... They did the chest x ary in april and already ask for that after six months.,.. I am doing it again in october. i dont know what is after. So if sputum test is negative they will also ask third one after too

I am facing same problem. I am to apply for canadian student visa for september 2018 .i have every documents ready to apply .i got my medical done at max hospital delhi after some days i go mail from canadian immigration reffering further medical tests which were three sputum tests .i have got these tests done before 22 days and now it takes approximately 2 montha for results to come . Now i am in thinking that i should apply my student visa or wait my test reports.

Heyy bro... I have also done my medical in max hospital lajpatnagr delhi and they took my Sputum culture test... Have u got ur reports??
