Cam you give an update. What challenges did you face during your medical test. I too had lymph node tb

Hello, don't worry, the additional TB test is very common, we faced the same situation, apparently, the process will remain the same with other persons with the same AOR as you, try to follow up theirs, when they will have " medical passed", in your profile " you will have "medical results under review". You will receive the Biometric letter at the same time as you AOR colleagues. Be patient, do the test and wait.
My husband, did the 3 months sputum test and a second x-ray after. His results are negative. Our doctor sent them yesterday. We are still waiting the profile update from under review to passed.
Here below our timeline:

ITA 10/01/2019
AOR 25/02/2019
Additional medical exam mail 06/03/2019
Medical under review 11/04/2019
Bio 14/04/2019

I hope it's helpful
During first medical test, did you mention about past history of TB?

Here I am sharing my time for Jan 2021 intake.

1. LOA from college on 22nd June 2021.
2. 1st Medical Appointment 07th August.
3. Received letter from the embassy on 15th August (due to some patchy area observed in middle left side of chest).
4. Went for sputum culture test on 27th august to 29th august.
5. Waited for reports and wished to be negative. (P.S. Never had TB or any serious illness related to chest.)
6. Reports sent to the hospital on 03rd November 2021.
7. Received email/call from hospital on 4th November 2021.
8. Second Medical X-Ray on 8th November 2021.(they also appointed me to the chest specialist/ who asked about some general questions regarding any kind of TB history. )
9. Reports sent/Submitted to embassy on 16th November.
10. Medical updated from under review to passed.
11. Received PPR letter on 19th November 2021.

In my second x-ray the specialist doctor displayed both of my x-ray which were identical which means in both of x-rays there's some patchy area in middle left side. If you never had TB then everything will be alright just have some patience.

I don’t know if this is a country disparity or their services just got worse because you’re the umpteenth person who got their medicals passed within days of submitting the TB report. You even got your PPR within days of passing your medicals.

I finished my medicals since Jan 20th. I got my reports sent to IRCC since February 18th. It’s been almost two months since then and nothing yet. It’s insane that there are Permanent Residence applicants whose medicals and applications in general have been faster than mine, which is a study permit application. What Canada is doing is messed up on so many levels.

Hi guys. I had my medicals on feb3 and was asked for a repeat xray in 3months time and to do a sputum test which came out negative after 8wks. I had d 2nd xray on may4 and then got another mail requesting for another xray test on aug4 making it a total of 3 xrays. What could be the problem here?

It is medical furtherance. There would be some fibre showing in your x-ray. Did your medical panel submitted your reports? Was it passed or still under review? There are chances that in the application it will be passed and you will still get medical surveillance.

Hi, has your medical been passed now? And PPR issued?
Hi,

I originally commented here in April about my “medical under review” but I didn’t get a response from IRCC till June and it was a Procedural Fairness regarding medication cost that exceeded regular student thresholds. I addressed it with an immigration lawyer’s help and a week later my medicals were passed. Almost a month later, I got my PPR. Traveling to Canada in two weeks. Goodluck!

It is part of medical furtherances for some cases. A 3rd confirmatory test is sometimes asked for.
Was your 3rd Xray same as 2nd Xray? Most people get passed after these delays. Hope for the best.

What is the update?

What if I apply for visa under SDS category while waiting for 2nd x ray ? Will they hold their decision till my reports get submitted or they simply reject my appointment?
