Adding spouse to my CEC Application

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone knows the steps involved to add the spouse to the Application in process?

I have sent an email to CIC regarding this 2 months ago and still no response.
Do I need to follow the specific format for the email (Subject Line / body)?

Any guidance will be appreciated!

Did you get married after filling your CEC application? If Yes, you just let CIC know the change in your marital status and they will send you a list of forms you need to furnish for your wife. I did the same in my case.

Email CPC-Ottawa at cpc-ctd-ottawa @ cic.gc.ca. Remember to include these details (First Name, Last Name, client ID, application number,Date of birth) in the body of the email. As far as the subject line is concerned, you can write " Canadian Experience Class - Status change is my application(UCI#xxxx, Application#xxxx)".
Their standard of reply is 20 days but you can expect a reply in a week or so.
