Not sure about super visa, but my parents arrived in 3rd week of July on TRV and just like you I demonstrated only my assessments during their visa application. Nothing was asked at Montreal airport. They were carrying only 20 euro and International credit cards.

I believe, CIC gives you 30 days notice to leave Canada when such applications are refused.

I would say, don't even try. They simply reject applications stating that you don't have required residency status in country from where you are applying US visa. They even reject applications of ppl on WP who has just landed in Canada.

I believe their stay will be extended by another 06 months if they take medical exam, but as some one said before, their extension application will be refused if they decide not to take medical test as asked by CIC. In any case, they can stay in Canada on implied status until the final decision...

Hello Kishore, For now that is the only option how TRV can be applied online even if you have valid WP. When I was in your situation couple of years back, my company used to send paper application to obtain an entry visa.

My parents received approval for their online TRV application. Application submitted: May 26 Approval received: June 03 Passports submitted at VFS Mumbai: June 04 Passports collected from VFS Mumbai: June 12 Visas are granted until the expiry date of their passport. :)

The only reason I can think of is; since US citizens don't need Canada visa to enter in Canada, there must be less staff to process such applications from US. Also, applicants' ties in Canada and home country could be playing key role.
