Hi everyone,
I'm on PGWP now, which is vadil upto May 2020.
I applied for PR under PNP - Master Graduate Scheme
Applied: Oct 2017
Date Recieved: Sep 5th, 2017
Med Req: March 3rd week, 2018
Med Pass: April 1st week, 2018

I'm still waiting for PPR. I'll be getting married in Dec 4th week and I will be travelling to India from mid of Dec 2018 to mid of Jan 2019. My Fiance got her Visitor Visa rejected 2 weeks ago.
If my application is still under process, can she apply for Open Work Permit from India as soon as I add her into my processing file?

According to my PR application process stage, there are different scenarios which I might fall under like,
- No PPR request
-PPR requested and I'm in India
-Received COPR
-Received COPR and waiting on PR Card(No visa to come back to Canada)

It would be great if anyone could help me out by letting me know whats the best thing to do in each scenario? and what's the optimal (safe and fast) way to bring my spouse to Canada after getting married?

Thanks in advance.

If ur mrg date is not fixed . Postpone the mrg .
They are taking way too much time to process the file if someone add a spouse later

Hi Naav,
Thanks for the quick response.
Our marriage date is fixed. In this case, can she get any kind of visa when the application is in process? I know its very likely to get Visitor Visa rejected.

Will they take back my COPR in case I get married after I receive it?

Thanks

I just called cic today.

They said for local offices like Etobicoke it may take upto 2 weeks to send PPR email after DM.
