Adding spouse after ppr, taking too long, please connect here

Hello. My partner and I recently passed the 1 year of living together and became common-law partners under the CIC rule. I currently have a COPR valid through Dec 2021 but I understand that I need to declare my common-law union using the IRCC webform and have the COPR canceled until my partner's file will be processed. I have a question for folks with similar experience: What documents do I need to submit when declaring my status change to IRCC? Do I need to submit the full list of documents noted by IRCC here for relationship assessment upfront while declaring via webform? Could I submit some of these (for example letters from family/friends) at a later date?

Hi there! My husband has added me to his copr application as we got married after he received his COPR. We have sent in the forms they requested including PCC, and fee payment. Has anyone got the ppr request? What would be the next step after this?

Hi all,

I am in a similar situation regarding spouse addition after COPR. Category - PNP, Outland (UAE)

My timeline to give you all an idea:
> Got married March 2021.
> Informed IRCC (via webform) April 2021.
> Received approved COPR and Visa Counterfoil (just for me) on 18th May 2021
> Received Cancellation of COPR Letter on 27th May, 2021
> Received request letter to add spouse - 29th June 2021 (time given 30 days)
> Submitted spouse's docs - 9th July 2021 (without upfront medical)
> UCI generated for spouse - 26th August 2021
> Medical and BIL letter for spouse - 2nd September 2021
> BIL submitted 7th Sept, Medical passed - 8th Sept

No update since then.

Anyone received PPR request recently?

I called CIC and asked. Also wrote an email enquiring about my visa office. They replied that my file is at CPC Ottawa right now.

Could you please inform me how did you manage to call them, which number? Also, it'd be great if you could please share their email address because I also need to confirm the status of my express entry file.

Sunopsis:
21-Oct-2021: Date of my marriage
18-Nov-2021: PPR
06-Dec-2021: Informed CIC about my marriage
28-Dec-2021: My VISA got stamped and issued a COPR with marital status as Single:

Case Details: Received NOI from ON after filing EE then accepted the NOI from ON and proceeded with OINP

Now i wanted to add my spouse in my application and i have few doubts regarding this

Que:1) Under which program should i apply while filling IMM0008 to add my spouse? Economic or Family?
Que:2) Under which category should i apply while filling IMM0008?
Que:3) Who need to fill imm5669e? me, my spouse or both?
Que:4) Do i also need to fill IMM 0008DEP as it says it is only for dependants not included in the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008)?
Que:5) Who need to fill imm5406? me, my spouse or both or not required?
Que:6) Can i travel with the existing VISA and COPR immediately after submitting these documents to CIC?
Que:7) Also, could anybody please share, what exactly needs to be mentioned in LOE?

hello,
recently I got ppr after 2 years meantime I got married as well so i informed them about the change, they sent me spousal inclusion kit which I completed and submitted within a month so now I want to ask how much time would it take until we get decision on her application as well?

I am a CEC inland applicant AOR Aug 2019, yes 2019, My application is in the process because I added my spouse into my application, I received my co-pr back in Jan 2020 but it got canceled

My question is if My Criminality and Security expire will IRCC ask me to redo PCC (CEC inland application)?

So here is my update-
AOR - Nov 2019
PPR - Mar 2020
COPR - June 2020 ( Covid and passport stuck)
COPR expired - Nov 2020
No news from CIC due to covid
Marriage- June 6 2021
Kept sending webforms and taking about marriage and sent out the details including Imm008 and other documents including her PCC.
Profile updated on March 2022, spouse added and also given UCI number, asked for medicals and medicals passed in 19th march.

-They have not asked for fees, or biometrics yet. got an update today asking to resubmit a few documents of spouse as the same were unreadable.
Hoping that we get the BIL soon, my medicals have also expired in April. no news regarding that as well.

Anybody had a similar situation?
