About how long I can apply for extending the study permit before it expire

Hi,

My study permit is going to expire in the end of September. Can I apply extension now in the May because I will not in Canada in the June and July? It is going to be rejected since I apply so early?

You can apply for the renewal of study permit, If you have all the necessary documents.

Dear Hsoka,
Just wondering if you had been able to renew your study permit while applying 405 months in advance. My wife is in the same situation and wondering if it is possible to apply 4 month in advance for study permit extension or not. Thank you.
