About applying under CEC

Hi,
I graduated from a Canadian college with 3 years of diploma in business administration.
I started working for a trucking company in August 2013 with 37.5 hours of work per week. ( 7.5 daily)
However, my pay is not hourly but I am on yearly salary basis with 24 EQUAL pay checks in 1 year(2 per month)
Recently, starting Jan 2014, I was given a raise in my salary.
So, I just want to know when will my 1 year of work experience finish so I can apply under CEC? As it says 1950 hours should be complete.
Also, is there any minimum salary requirements for CEC? If yes, how much?
Please respond.

Before anyone can answer that, we'd have to know what your NOC is, and/or what your position/job duties are, to know whether you qualify.

Being paid on a salary basis is quite normal for CEC applicants. The main proof of hours worked per week is what your employer states in the Letter of Employment.

As it says 1950 hours should be complete.
No, it does not say that. Please download and read the most recent application information.

Also, is there any minimum salary requirements for CEC?
No.

My NOC is 1223 and duties include: keeping records of drivers and office staff, orientation to new drivers, sending them for training, salary administration, posting advertisements on tv,radio and newspapers whenever there is shortage of drivers, conflict resolution, helping with the hiring process of drivers, etc

Cic deems full time as 30 hours a week for 12 months
Therefore you are eligible to apply in august 2014. Maybe allow a couple of weeks in case of miscalculation in either side

Your NOC is eligible. Now you just have to wait until August 2014 to apply. A little note though: the letter from your employer should have a date AFTER the date you're eligible to apply.

For example, if you started working August 5th, 2013, then the letter from your employer should be dated August 6th, 2014 or after. My lawyer advised me that when we submitted my application.

Hope that helps and good luck.

Thanks guys for the info. Also to mention, my company doesnt have drivers as full time employees. We hire private contractors as the drivers. But still we have to overlook them. Is my position still valid even though the drivers are not employees of the company. We approximately have 18 drivers working for us right now.

It doesn't matter about others.
It matters about you - you need to be on payroll (ie tax deducted by company before they pay you)

You're eligible to apply! your work hrs are fine and there isn't a minimum salary requirement for CEC !
