A canadian citizen marriage in the philippines

I am 10 yrs now in canada. In 2013 i filed a divorce with my husband in the philippines.just like to ask if i am a canadian citizen already does it void my marriage in the philippines and make my husband single again?

Becoming a Canadian citizen does not void your marriage. Only a divorce does that.

Citizenship does not affect your or his marital status. If the divorce was recognized in the Philippines, then your ex became single because of the divorce, not because you were already a Canadian citizen.
