Nobody knows for sure if you will need 350, 400, 450, 500 points to be called.

But anyway, you really should go for it as you have nothing to lose.

The EE system will give your rating in real time, so you will now how well you score compared to others.

They will give you your rank compared to other applicants - probably from the same NOC.

So you will now that you rank 100th, or 10th, compared to others. You won't be in the dark.

What we will not be sure is how many will be asked to apply in each draw.

Guys, we will be ranked all in the same pool!

Not according to our NOC codes or CEC/FSW. Just wanted to clear that for you.

That doesn't make any sense. They will need some classification by NOC. To me, they will draw according to NOC (today, 50 from 2174, 10 from 0013 and only that for example).

Say that all plumbers must have a very high level of English and French and a PHD in order to be nice plumbers. So all of them have about 500 points, above all other applicants.

So the CIO will call only plumbers to immigrate to Canada? Sure, it will be nice to have all pipes just perfect, but they will eventually need Doctors, Engineers, IT guys...

Under EE, NOC code doesn't matter. No caps, no banned list, no preferred NOCs at EOI stage. The EOI intakes and draw process are purely computer codes. All it cares is your CRS points. CIC officers come in only after ITAs are issued and proper application is received.

What you are saying theoretically could happen. But statistically, with a large number of applicants in the pool, NOC codes are much more likely to be diversified. Some jobs are in higher demand of course, but because of the 600 points, only those with jobs from a Canadian employers gets in first.

Besides, CIC is leaving the job selection process up to the free job market. If plumbers got eligible job offers, they are (in the eyes of CIC) more desirable to Canada's economy, than doctors who don't.

Have you read that somewhere or are you guessing?

I've got a nice score, so to me in particular this scenario would be the best. But it doesn't ring true to me.

We'll have to wait a few more days to be sure.

do u think 375 is worth giving it a shot ?
yes you should do it. There is no fee or penalty if you don't get ITA. You can even seek PNP nominations and have your name in EE profile at the same time.
