you're such an angel :D been so anxious since i submitted docs last Sept.1. im also from QC Phil. i hope the 1 year experience would not be a factor for me not being approved despite the 1000 cap. been a CI since after my hospital employment, almost 4 years actually, i hope it would be considered. has your friend left alredy? with family? and do you have an idea if your chosen place to land has a bearing if you would be approved or not?

thanks so much. :D

I have current application in SRNA. The assessment is still in queue. I applied last year, April and until now they have not sent nor inform me of their decision. Whenever I follow up, they will respond that they have already received the required requirements and my application is in queue for assessment

Hi! can i ask po how lone you've worked as a staff nurse and CI? im worried that they won't consider my CI experience coz i've only had 1 year of experience as staff nurse and almost 4 years of CI. thanks. ;)

Hi CarribRN ,

Thanks for your reply ,

Anyway I have 4 years work experience , is it sufficient?,

Please let me know any other province will allow the 3 year GNM for crne exam.

Thanks,
Sja

Hi!

Regardless of how long the work experience is, it is a mandatory requirement across Canada for the RN applicant to have a BSN. If you don't have this, you won't be able to apply and work as an RN.

The only solution to this problem is for the applicant to study again and obtain a BSN degree.

DGM,

Not to be rude or anything but you are becoming a nuisance now. Your question is ad nauseum. It's the same question that you had been asking over and over again not only from this forum but from the Fil forum as well.

Anyways, if you have a staff nurse experience for one year then that is enough for you to qualify and apply under the Skilled Worker Category (provided you have met the 67-point requirement as well). If you had work as a CI for 4 years then you can get an extra point from that too.

If you are waiting for people to tell you that your application has a 100% chance of approval then you will be in for a long wait as only the VO officer will know that for sure since they will be the one to decide on it.

A word of advise, pray and relax. If you have submitted all the documents that the CIO is asking for and you meet all the requirements to qualify under the SW category the then you have nothing to worry about.
