I will be landing with My Family on 27th June , then i would be coming back to India after one week.
According to the other posts the PR cards are delayed many time even for 45 days.

Is there a way to get a TEMP PR Card from India consulate and go back to canada?

Yes, it's called a PR travel document. If you find yourself as a PR outside of Canada without a valid PR card whether you had not gotten it yet or it was lost, stolen or expired, you can apply for a PR travel document at the embassy.

Has any body applied for PR travel document at new delhi consulate?
Please advice on the process

You can find the application forms here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/travel.asp

I am not sure about last steps of the PR process; Can you please explain this step?
You are planning to land to Canada with your family; you will apply for PR card ? ? ? Which may take more than one week; so you & your family comeback to India.
then again you will come back to Canada to get PR Cards for you & your family?

You can also land in Canada, apply for your PR card at the airport and stay in Canada and apply for your SIN, health care, look for a job etc. while you wait for your PR card to arrive in the mail. You do not have to leave again if you don't want to.

There are however some people who need to leave shortly after landing. Maybe the PR visa is about to expire so they must land in Canada right away while they still need to tie up some loose ends in their homeland, sell a house, finish a work contract or something like that so they stay for a short time after landing and then go back. If they gave an address for the PR card to be mailed to and they have somebody at that address to receive the card and mail it to them where they are, they will be able to use it to come back to Canada. If they did not have an address to give or they want to return to Canada before the card is processed, then they must apply for a PR travel document.

Can we assume that a PR Travel document will be automatically given?
I feel very afraid that it will be yet another struggle.
Is there anyone in these forums with experience in that matter and can shed light?
Thanks.

Yes, you can assume it will be automatically given. The only thing you need to prove is that you have not lost your PR already due to residency requirements (must stay in Canada 2 out of 5 years) and since you have been a PR for such a short time, it is not at all possible for you to have lost your status for that reason yet.

Thanks a lot for reply & help to understand.

Currently, I am working in USA; if everything goes fine & I get the PR; I can land to Canada, apply for
- SIN
- Health care
If I do not give address to post my PR Card & SIN; Can I collect it personally from respective offices (in next visit to Canada in 4-6 weeks)?
Once I have my PR Card; I would like to continue with current job in USA & can search for new job in Canada.

You might not be able to apply for your health care on your first visit since generally they require that you are living in Canada so you will have to have some proof of that first.

As for the SIN and PR card, I do not think that they give you the option of picking the cards up. In order to have an address for them to be sent to, you can go to UPS and arrange it with them that you will have a Canadian address but your mail actually goes to UPS and is forwarded to where you live in the US.
