I just got aor from local visa office dt 05.Jan.10. It states that i should contct them directly if i do not hear from them in 12 mnths. I sent my full doc in aug and online status changed to in proces in aug. 12 mnths starts from aug or on the date of aor.

Sent full application in aug09,after 6 months they issued aor. Man this new process is taking time as well.
