Looks like the update occurs each time they complete a part of your background check, hence why some folks are getting multiple ghost updates..

Dear Froggie, did you get any latest GCMS? Or did you receive any ADR? I feel something is pending for additional confirmation & they are waiting for it. May be the latest GCMS will give you a clearer picture. To avoid further delay on the next review date, you better order for latest notes . You know surprisingly I received my GCMS within 7 days of ordering.

Medical & Criminality were passed whereas eligibility & security were under process in Ottawa 3 weeks back.

Me and several other Brazilian PNP applicants whose cases are being processed at SPVO got a ghost update this Friday, May 11th. Hope this is a sign PPR is coming.

My security was not started until the approval on the 27th. Yes, that ghost update signifies something. For my case, everything was passed on the 27th Feb, and on the 28th, the officer updated passport request and photos. A week later, I received the PPR letter

Just got my 3rd set of GCMS today with approval and counterfoil details.

Security activities are redacted from the notes.
