I see that a lot of people are aware of their VO. Is that information essential before receiving PPR? Or usually CIC mention VO where you should take your passport in golden email? I want to know is there a need to contact them regarding that now(because I never called them or sent an email to check my visa office) or everything will be clear on time of receiving passport request?

Received PPR on 1st Mar after IP2 on 27th Feb
Hi Ankie,

Congrats your PPR, really an exciting news for the ones who got IP2 on 27/02.

Could you please kindly share your time line(AOR, MEP, IP1, NA2, IP2 and so) so that other friends can compare their own with your case? And did you provide any additional documents during the days from AOR to PPR?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Ankie,
Congratulations on the PPR!! And do you still remember when your status changed to 'IP2' on the 27th, did your account front page detail show 'updated' or 'submitted'? Because it seems most people who got 'updated' got their PPRs.... mine showed 'submitted' on the 27th when became IP2.

I reckon you mean to ask "Read or Updated"? the submitted never changes after initial submission

5th Feb - AOR
14th Feb - Medicals Passed
I guess i missed NA.
27th Feb - Documents Tab shows - No additional documents required and Background check - We are processing your background check.
Is this IP2?
Pretty quick processing if that is the case?

I don't think it matters as such unless your VO is London which is being known to have longer expected time in issuing PPR (so those applicants need to be more patient.

It showed 'Submitted' on 27th though the remarks were updated as per IP2
Showed 'updated' on 28th though the remarks inside were exactly same as 27th

I get it, so all necessary information for submitting the passport will be covered by PPR email and there is no need to know visa office or any other contact information before PPR(other than to estimate their wait time before PPR).

If you get to know your VO, you can set your expectations as some VOs like Paris are relatively slow than others like New Delphi and Singapore. You can check immitracker for your VOs processing times and may have an idea about the time you’ll receive PPR. Other than that there is no use in asking abour your VO.
