You should call CIO after 6 weeks of your application received.
They will give you idea about falling in CAP.

Hi All, This is my first post and so I don't know how to add all the info under my name they way you all are so if someone could let me know how you are all doing that, that would be great.

I applied under the 2121 NOC sending all needed info for processing at the Kingston Jamaica visa office. My application was received Nov 18, 2011 and I haven't heard anything yet.

I think this is a great idea to keep us all aware of what is happening as there is very little that you can get especially at this point of the process when the application has not even been acknowledged.

Will keep you posted with progress. Keeping my fingers crossed that I was able to get in before the cap was reached.
