Has anyone applied in August or later and received a biometric request?

You should ask if they have AOR. I applied in February and got AOR after 5 months. At this point I’ve moved on, living my life and upgrading my qualifications. Whenever IRCC remembers me, they’ll send for biometrics. I just checked people in 2022-2023 thread are still struggling to get their PR. It’s a long long process.

I have no adaptation problems. I'm doing my own job here. I also bought my own house with a mortgage. My family and I spend a great time together. So, I don't need the advice you mentioned. I applied in July, and the AOR came in August.

No. My application is processing in Mississauga Ontario.

I also applied in february, got the XG in may/june, and the G letter/Bio request in august.

Would be using the new processing tool. IRCC is giving you the best approximation of processing times. Previous posted processing times did not reflect accurate future processing times as they started to increase and the processing times will continue to increase. If you had been following the data it was clear that processing times would get much longer and not sure why IRCC didn’t change to this new AI processing system much earlier.

i have not.
it will takes couple of weeks to couple of months to receive AOR after Temporary Number.

Sorry to ask but I am confused how C2/12 will impact 2025 pr applications especially for those who cross us border.

It shouldn’t if you have already been approved as a protected person and filedyour of your PR application.

i have not.

I called ircc today and submit my temporary file number to know the status of my application.they said they are unable to find the status of my application.while a called them few days before they said its in que.why they are unable to tell now ?do you know ?

I submitted my application at 5 July 2025.
I got AOR with XG..... number in September.
Can I link my application to gc key account with XG.... number?
