2025 PR Application Timeline (Protected Person)

For those who applied between July and December 2025, I’m a June 2025 applicant. To date, I have never received an AOR, but IRCC is actively working on my file. I received my BIL in August 2026, and it included a permanent application number.

I am a October-25 applicant and still no AOR. Am I the only one left? Everyone seems to get their AOR even December Applicants. It’s almost 12 months since I have applied.

You’re definitely not alone. There are still October 2025 applicants waiting for AOR, even though some later applicants may have already received theirs.
IRCC processes applications individually, so the order of AOR issuance doesn’t always match the application submission date. If you have a temporary application number, that at least indicates IRCC has your application in its system.

Hopefully your AOR comes soon. Keep checking your email and IRCC account, and don’t lose hope.

That’s a great update! Congratulations! Receiving your BIL on September 14 and Pre-Arrival on September 15, even before completing biometrics, shows your application is moving forward.

Thanks for sharing! This is helpful for July–December 2025 applicants who are still waiting for AOR. It shows that IRCC can actively process a file and issue a permanent application number/BIL even before the AOR is received. Hopefully your AOR and next updates come soon!

Thanks for sharing your timeline. This is really helpful, especially for those of us who applied in the second half of 2025 and are still waiting for AOR. Yes protected person. I recently updated my file with change in marital status and a new born baby( my partner is a citizen so no sponsorship is going to be processed) the file was received and was added to my file. I asked ircc and they said that they are processing the new information but I didn't an AOR yet. I hope this will make things start moving. It's been almost 13 months since i applied.

any refugee to PR used webform after P1? i submitted P1 on 15th aug since then no response. i wanted to send webform but there is option . What application did you submit? there is not refugee option so not sure what to select. any advice please. Also, can anyone recommend using webform just to confirm if they receive p1?

I called them and they told me my file has been updated with the new information.
