I applied in June 2025
Still my application shows simple submitted. No biometric or anything after application submitted. Called them and they are saying application still didn’t processed.

The fact that you applied in Quebec has likely lead to longer processing time. Have you remained outside Quebec and when did you inform IRCC that you left Quebec and have settled in another province. Changing to outside Quebec processing can take a few months. It is unclear how applications are treated after the change. You may end up at the end of the processing line when you change for Quebec processing to outside of Quebec. Processing is moving much faster thanks to the 1 time policy so you should see some movement in your file soon or at least in 2027.

I still didn’t recieve biometric just recieved temp Application number.

Called ircc they said application still didn’t start process.

May I know if you had same issue or you can guide something

You started your application in Quebec so can’t compare to other applications who applied outside of Quebec.

Yes, my parents received their CSQ in April 2025.

Could you please explain how I would obtain my CSQ as a dependent child living outside Canada? Through which process would it be issued or requested? I’m trying to understand the next steps in my case because my parents already have their CSQ and my biometrics and medical are already completed. I completed them in July this year.

All you do is wait. You don’t have to do anything if you’ve already submitted a complete application. Processing time for Quebec applicants is much longer than people outside Quebec. Would expect processing for you and your parents will take many years.

You wait. Processing for Quebec is years. You may need to repeat your medical because it is only valid for a year. VOs do have the ability to waive bye requirement to repeat a medical so you may not have to redo the medical. Make sure you do not get married or become common law or you would no longer qualify for PR as a dependent of your parent.

My consultant was in Quebec. So I checked with IRCC again to clear that doubt but my address is outside of Quebec.

The fact that your representative was in Quebec may have lead to you ending up in the Quebec processing queue. Surprised you don’t have AOR yet but it does appear that it is taking a long time for many to receive AOR. If you haven’t received AOR before Christmas then I would order GCMS notes.

Is it possible for IRCC to request your biometrics and medical exam before you receive your CSQ as a dependent child living abroad? And how can I check the status of my application as a dependent child living abroad?

So if my consultant was in Quebec it can still lead ending up in Quebec. So what I can do now?

Should I apply for GCMS notes now will that clear something

Update on my application above

I got p2 just now … August 27th

IRCC called me before I got the P2
Because I forgot to put my email on the P1
So they called to get the right info and in 1 minute after giving them I got the P2 email

I have a question, my Passport is older than 6 month do I have to go take another or use the one I used in my application for P2 portal

October 2025 applicant still no AOR. I had a dependent and wanted to remove them, no update neither. How do I reach IRCC? I really think something ia wrong.

I am November applicant. Last two weeks ago IRCC requested the missing information in IMM form and I submitted that day. Is anybody have kind of situation and how long does it take to get response or AOR from IRCC?
