CSQ is the next stage but that still you take many years. Have your parents received CSQ? Next would be your parents getting PR. Will still be many years before your parents and then you get PR. You can’t get married or become common law until you get PR.Yes, my parents received their CSQ in April 2025.

Could you please explain how I would obtain my CSQ as a dependent child living outside Canada? Through which process would it be issued or requested? I’m trying to understand the next steps in my case because my parents already have their CSQ and my biometrics and medical are already completed. I completed them in July this year.

Are there any April 2025 Protected Person PR applicants with dependants outside Canada who have recently received Pre-Arrival, P1/P2, or an eligibility update?

I applied in April 2025. My last major updates were the BIL/biometrics and police certificate request, which I completed and submitted. IRCC has confirmed that they received everything and nothing is outstanding from my side. Criminality has passed, but I still haven't received any eligibility/pre-arrival update.

I'm just wondering if anyone with a similar April timeline and an overseas dependant has received anything recently. Please share your timeline if you can. Thank you

Still my application shows simple submitted. No biometric or anything after application submitted. Called them and they are saying application still didn’t processed.

Processing isn’t done in a strict chronological order so information like the month that a person applied for PR and when they received PR can only give you an approximate idea of when you may also receive PR. This also assumes that people apply for PR as soon as they received protected person status. That said as long as your PR application didn’t require additional steps you should receive PR within the next few months. We are entering the end of the year so processing often slows down if the annual PR quotas has been met or is about to be met. All you can do now is be patient.

I got P1 today

So my timeline
I applied June 2025
Temp AOR: sept 2025
I did not receive permanent AOR
Called IRCC and they told me it was sent, I just linked my account by removing the G
BIL : July 20th 2026
Pre- arrival : August 15th 2026
I did not receive eligibility
When I called IRCC August 17th they said everything has passed except security has not started
August 20th 2026 I got a ghost update and my final decision changed from processing to (August 20th we are processing……)
P1: August 21st 2026

Application just shows submitted untill now.

I still didn’t recieve biometric just recieved temp Application number.

Called ircc they said application still didn’t start process.

May I know if you had same issue or you can guide something
