Submission receipts? It was submission receipt in January 2025 when I submitted all requested documents including police clearance certificate and after which I went for biometrics only. Not sure what’s going on and everything seems confusing.

O I think you go some steps . I just received only temporary AOR XG application number that letter says my application is on queue
Can someone please explain after biometrics what is next step as the status only says submitted but not sure what’s next. Thank you in advance.
How to link that? Please explain and I will get my credentials from lawyer to check as he is keep telling me to wait only and according to him p1-p2 is for refugee applications not for pr application and it is frustrating as I don’t know the process steps. Meanwhile can someone please help to explain the steps after biometrics.
If you took biometric letter, you have application number. Start with G…….. and go to gc key account click link to application and fill your information. Also you can use chatgbt for that.

I suggest you check your junk/spam folder first and if there’s nothing there, try calling IRCC and they should be able to let you know what’s going on.
I am assuming that the year is just a typo.
An acquaintance of mine applied around end June 2025, I think it was around mid-September that he received the acknowledgment of receiving the application from IRCC. It had a temporary application number (starting with XG)… and nothing after that (at least till last week).
Reading through this thread, apparently all of us who applied June 2025 to end of 2025 only received the XG email, no AOR for any applicant June-December 2025.
As per IRCC's estimated processing times, there are 69,700 applicants ahead of June 2025 applications.
I'm just thinking loud here.. no official information..
Upon launching the one-time initiative, IRCC maybe will logically first clear the applicants up to Dec 2023 as a first patch of this initiative: (around 23,100) - this is the number of files ahead of Jan 2024 applicants as per IRCC estimated processing times.... hopefully this will take IRCC up to 3-4 months in total...
Then, IRCC maybe will process the 2024 applicants (30,700).. this is again from IRCC estimated processing times.. (53,800 ahead of Jan 2025 applicants - those ahead of Jan 2024 applicants: 53,800 - 23,100 = 30,700) ..... Again, hopefully the 2024 applicants will be cleared within 4-5 months..
Then IRCC will start processing 2025 applicants
(97,200 - 53,800 = 43,400)
(97,200 applications ahead of Jan 2026 applicants) - 53,800 (backlog until Jan 2025 = 43,400 (number of 2025 applicants)...
As per IRCC processing times, this will hopefully be done within 7-8 months (6,000 application a month)..
Processing +6,000 applications per month seems too optimistic.. I don't know if IRCC have put in place all the necessary resources/tools/synergies that will make this possible...
Again.. it is possible that some files will be processed faster than others... with less complex security screening depending on country of origin.. minimum travel history.. single.. in Canada.. how busy is the processing office/officer ... etc.. several factors to consider here..
