2025 PR Application Timeline (Protected Person)

Hello All, please share your PR application timeline here for 2025. I have submitted for my dad's application on April 29th 2025.

* Protected Person PR is not points-based
* Processing is priority-based, but still affected by security checks
* Parents included as dependents often take the same timeline as the main applicant
* Silence from IRCC for several months is completely normal

I've submitted my application on May 03 2025 but didn't receive any form ircc

Do you receive aor ?

i submitted in September 2025, got AOR with temporal number starting with XG in November. Since then nothing.

from what i see from my research,it will take around 6 month to receive AOR and i see from couple of comments currently they are sending july applicant AOR,so hopefully you will receive next month in march.i submitted in October 2025, got temporary number starting with XG in December and still waiting same as you.

He applied in 2025 why should he post in a 2026 thread?? Makes no sense.

I won’t bother myself about anything yet until after 2yrs. Applicant from 2023 are still waiting. So I don’t understand the unnecessary hassle.

my wife applied in April 2025 along with dependents, she received temporary AOR in June and in august received letter to submit information on her sibling address. since then nothing. Is it normal? I heard they should have had AOR but still waiting. Does this delays her application? They are protected person.

Check your application status online or call ircc they will tell about the status of your application

where to check? they submitted through lawyer. they checked with him in jan he said no update.

asking for additional information would delay the process?actually i also have another question, in the letter where they asked for additional information, it was written in red something like (final reminder) when we asked why it is written like that he said its normal!

I called to ircc yesterday and they said my application is not in que now they start working on it any body know when i xan expect AOR in this situation
