2025 PR Application Timeline (Protected Person)

It shows me for 6 months now, August 2025, BIL was made, July 31, the update did not come, it still says that the background check is being processed.

I checked again shows 6 months now but no BIL still.

I think it is all on theirs hand of IRCC. they can even finalize and make the final decision within a few weeks time. Unpredictable how they process for the step by step for PR Protected Person pathway. But I have a sense that they will finalize most of the applications from 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 applications under one time initiative combined with normal quota for PR protected person. If we add up all the numbers from both, it made sense that most of the pending PR applications for the past few years will be gone by 2027.
