congratulations. looks like Toronto is going fast and good where is alberta is going slow

I'm from AB and got scheduled to take the oath in early January. Hard to agree with a blanket statement saying some areas see quicker grants being given than others, as files are reviewed and scrutinized on a case by case basis.

Had my oath ceremony yesterday virtually, haven't received any link to download my certificate, will keep you folks updated.

It depends.. sometimes in 1-2 weeks or may be months. You can email them that you want to change it to in-person. This is written in the oath invite email

No email yet, so I don't know if it's an in person or virtual ceremony. We'd prefer an in person one. Anybody any experience with changing a virtual one into an in person one? How much extra time gets added? I read 1 to 4 months on average, but does anybody have any recent experience with this? We'd be in Ottawa. Thanks.
