I feel very happy for anyone who has received their p1/p2 or PR.
I just find it odd that Aug 2024 applicants are getting approval while we are waiting from Jan 2024. I have not received anything since pre-arrival back in 2025. NOT EVEN eligibility. What exactly is IRCC doing?

Its really weird and when you call
All agents do is tell you the number of people ahead of you and how you fall within the normal processing time. Also how each application is different. All we can do it wait.

I have an idea. The average processing time is already stated on the IRCC website. This timeframe shows that approximately 80% of applications are completed. Within this timeframe, there will be very fast and very slow applications, which is normal. I think applications from people who haven't traveled to many different countries or received any criminal record are processed faster, because the most time-consuming part is the security investigation, and the more complicated your past, the longer it will take. The remaining 20% takes even longer than what is shown to us. I hope everyone gets what they want as soon as possible, but we can't know exactly what's going on inside.

I agree

those waiting for their first PR card.. do not forget to link your PR card application on your GC key portal so you can track your application once IRCC process and mail your first PR card.

IRCC sends one pre-arrival letter for only (main applicant) generally covers the whole application, including dependents (spouse/children), not per person. Their spouse (even if outside Canada and with a separate file number linked to the same case) may not receive a separate letter.

In my case, they sent two separate letters. I, as the applicant, received mine via email and in my online application, while my spouse (inland) received theirs via email.

Hello All, wanted to share a concern with you regarding GCKEY.
I had linked my application on March 26,2025 and ever since it was showing percentage completed. Today it was not showing the percentage.

Is this normal? Has anyone experienced the same?

** my application was 72% completed on last Friday.

Where exactly do you see the percentage? I’m waiting for my eCOPR, but I’ve never seen any percentage in my online application after linking it.

Does it only appear for certain applications?
