Hello everyone,

I’m looking for some advice or shared experiences regarding the timeline for receiving the Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) for my Protected Person application.

I received protected refugee status in July 2024, and later submitted my Permanent Residence (PR) application in August 2024 along sponsor a spouse outside Canada. Since then, I haven’t received any AOR or update. My online portal still shows everything grayed out, and there’s no status available under my application.

I have already submitted a web form inquiry, but I only received the standard response:
At nov 2025 you said you do not receive any AOR and now you said you said you received at oct 2024 ?

This is very strange someone got ecopr and someone stuck in security
I understand that IRCC does not process applications in the order they are received, either AOR date, biometrics date, or even the date on which eligibility is passed. Application timelines may vary depending on factors such as visa office workload, the complexity of security screening, family composition, and routine quality assurance reviews. I respectfully assume that these considerations may be affecting the current status of my application.

who submitted the PR application? you or lawyer? if you do have lawyer then they will get the updates not you.
Also PR portal is for only PR application submission. you don't get updates on PR portal. You have to link your PR application on GC key. you have to have Permanent Application number to link your appliction.

In November 2025, I mentioned that I had not received my AOR. However, I later discovered that the AOR email, dated October 2024, had been directed to my spam folder and was therefore missed at the time. After contacting my Member of Parliament’s office, they kindly confirmed that my AOR had in fact been issued in October 2024. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

who submitted the PR application? you or lawyer? if you do have lawyer then they will get the updates not you.
Also PR portal is for only PR application submission. you don't get updates on PR portal. You have to link your PR application on GC key. you have to have Permanent Application number to link your appliction.

I personally submitted my PR application and have handled all correspondence with IRCC myself. I do not have a lawyer or representative associated with my application. I linked my application to my GCKey account in December 2025; however, the system does not provide real-time updates, and changes are not reflected immediately. According to my GCMS notes, my eligibility has been marked as “Passed.” However, this update is not yet reflected in my linked online application account.

But if you observed ircc behaving like that since december 2025.before thay they were working very predictible and chronolgicaly
