I received eligibility letter by mail to my address yesterday.
What’s next after that ?

Essentially a very long wait and background checks unless you qualify for a pilot program. Many are waiting for PR who applied in 2022. If in Quebec even longer.

Hi everyone below is my timeline so far

PR application- Feb 2024

AOR/Bio- April 2024

Refund for $415- March 2025
Same day requested IMM5669 again for my dependent child

PAL- April 2025 only for me and my spouse

I still haven’t received PAL for my dependent child is this normal? As IRCC requested his IMM5669 again and issued a refund. We’re all inland.

Long wait ahead!

Do you need to provide the following forms for outside Canada dependents when you have already submitted the PR application by In-Canada Protected Person on the online portal?

1. Generic Application Form IMM 0008 (Thats for Principal Applicant. No?)
2. Background Declaration IMM 5669
3. Additional Family Information IMM 5406
4. Supplementary Information IMM 5562

Requesting a quick response please. Thanks

Hi, I am the dependent of a protected person under the pilot project or DR2 applicants - and i did received such, however, I did redo the forms and submit plus i had made some minor errors on the first submission when my spouse in Canada submitted his protected person PR application. errors such as addresses for family members, places lived before - the timeline should be properly accounted for with NO gaps in between - ensure you follow the IRCC guidance or watch reputable youtube videos on how its don't but every timeline should be accounted for and do remember some forms needed to be manually signed and dated in several areas such as the family form etc.

Hi everyone,
I’m a dependent of a protected person in Canada. Here's a summary of our timeline so far:
Principal Applicant (Spouse):
February 2024: Spouse submitted application protected person PR
April 16, 2024: Spouse received an email to correct errors in the IMM5406 form (issues included: incorrect address formatting, missing timelines, missing birthdates, marital status inconsistencies, etc.) and 2 another forms
July 5, 2024: Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) received
July 16, 2024: Biometrics request received for spouse, along with a request for another amendment to a form that still had errors

Dependents:

August 13, 2024: Dependents received a DR2 request letter to complete forms under the pilot program - centralized concurrent processing

Biometrics letters received (for father & son) to get done, I was also asked to submit my police certificate within 30 days
September 9, 2024: All requested documents and (biometrics given) were submitted

Since then – no updates.

Has anyone else experienced a similar timeline or delay? Would appreciate hearing others' experiences
