She was a student and got her 1 year PGWP and we’re just looking to see how she can maintain status when her OWP expires in January while I add her to my application.

You got pre arrival before biometrics?

Yes because the biometric on the time of the pre arrival was valid, after that when it was expired they requested me to do it

Good day, I have just received an email from IRCC requesting that i should fill out a form IMM5409:

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX> Official Declaration of Common-Law Union: You must submit a completed Official Declaration of Common-Law Union (IMM 5409) form, bearing the original signatures. You can obtain this form at the following address:https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5409e.pdf.This must be received at this office by: 2025/06/22

I will try to do it, but i am living overseas and my partner in Canada - am sort of lost based on the requirement that both party needs to sign this form Infront of a notary public, as anyone here gotten this form???

Hello, I'm in the same situation, my partner and I are living in different countries. I'm not sure how we can sign the IMM 5409 in front of the notary. Can I ask how you guys did it?
